The 6019, when originally introduced, was known as the “Modified Hampton” handrail, created by a demand for a larger profile handrail in the Hampton, Tudor, Classic and Traditional balustrades. Fittings for this profile were not available by any of the manufacturers until the early 1990’s. Now we have the comfort of not only a generous, high-profile handrail, but with fittings and available in almost every wood species.
