About Assembled Universal False Tread Kits: This variation has the nosing and cove attached on all three sides of the tread, allowing for the removal of the side not needed, creating the desired left hand or right hand return. Universal Tread Kits include risers and mullion.

About False endtreads: The combined nosing and cove is the same dimension as solid hardwood bullnosed trads trimmed with a 3/4” cove mould. The Plates are 1/2” hardwood vaneered which can sit on top of the existing framed treads, allowing carpet padding and carpet to butt or roll up to it, giving the appearance of solid hardwood treads below the carpet. These are used in custom homes as well as simple remodeling projects. Saves time and money!
